October 2011 - Futureserv Supports BBC Children In Need

Futureserv are proud to have supported DIY SOS: The Big Build for Children in Need 2011 by producing electrical plans and designs for the project.

Their latest and most ambitious build saw hundreds of trades turn out to redevelop the Norris Green Youth Centre in Liverpool, an excellent but dilapidated youth facility based in one of the most deprived areas of Liverpool. The centre, which does some amazing work transforming the lives of young people and steering them away from crime has at least 50 children and young people attending every evening - 7 days a week.

Our engineers worked closely with the DIY SOS team and other volunteers to create an energy efficient and robust environment which will benefit the centre and the wider community for years to come.
